It was fun exploring Martin Stadium for Brandon & Melissa’s engagement session. We not only found lots of cool spots, but Brandon and Melissa even found their wedding date…
I will be photographing Shelbie & Daniels wedding later this summer. It was a pleasure getting to know them, and their Chocolate Lab– Hank. Here are just a few images from their engagement session…
I wanted to take the time to blog about a recent fashion shoot I had with Katerina– a senior at Pullman High School. I loved the whole look and feel of Katerina’s outfit… but what made it most impressive is that she designed it! I expect Katerina will go far in her design career after high school.
The pictures were taken in Pullman, on a bitter cold day, but Katerina braved the cold and stepped in front of the lens! Thanks to Katerina for a fun afternoon!

The fall colors came out just in time for my session with Kaiti. Not only was it colorful, but the air was crisp, and it was sunny–which equaled a beautiful fall day.
Kaiti and her mom were awesome- they were up for anything and excited about the portrait session. Since I had met with Kaiti and her mom before the day of our session, I had a good sense of her personality and style. She is very athletic, classy, and loves old Hollywood style– so for something fun–we shot a few images with Old Hollywood-style lighting. All in all- I couldn’t have asked for a better day, or better company;) Thanks Kaiti and Kendra!

Family portraits are usually fun, but they can be even more fun and special when they include the family pet. It’s not very often that I get to work with four-legged friends other than my own– so I was happy that Erica & Donny wanted the portraits to include their Husky and Chocolate Lab. We did lots of walking to keep the two pups from feeling restless, and it worked. We got some great shots, exercise, and by the end of the shoot- we were all ready to relax:)
Thanks Erica & Donny
Dale and Mary Lou celebrated their 40th Anniversary, and as a surprise their family had the thoughtful idea to give them a family portrait session. The timing worked out perfectly- their daughter was visiting from out of state for the occasion, and it was harvest time– so the wheat had turned into a plush carpet of gold.
Kim Taylor, who I know from growing up in Genesee, described the area they had in mind for the session. When I arrived to the location, it was more beautiful than I imagined. Their farm is a perfect blend of wheat fields, lush forests, and a panoramic view of the canyon.
They were hoping to incorporate the wheat into their photos. It’s a frequent request this time of year, but the wheat fields never disappoint. They always make the perfect backdrop… especially here, don’t you think?
There were a few more portraits of the McGuires that I wanted to share. The weather was perfect and the sun was just coming down. Even though it was close to bedtime for Addison and Jorja, they were still very sweet. Thanks again to the McGuire family.
