I wanted to take the time to blog about a recent fashion shoot I had with Katerina– a senior at Pullman High School. I loved the whole look and feel of Katerina’s outfit… but what made it most impressive is that she designed it! I expect Katerina will go far in her design career after high school.
The pictures were taken in Pullman, on a bitter cold day, but Katerina braved the cold and stepped in front of the lens! Thanks to Katerina for a fun afternoon!

The fall colors came out just in time for my session with Kaiti. Not only was it colorful, but the air was crisp, and it was sunny–which equaled a beautiful fall day.
Kaiti and her mom were awesome- they were up for anything and excited about the portrait session. Since I had met with Kaiti and her mom before the day of our session, I had a good sense of her personality and style. She is very athletic, classy, and loves old Hollywood style– so for something fun–we shot a few images with Old Hollywood-style lighting. All in all- I couldn’t have asked for a better day, or better company;) Thanks Kaiti and Kendra!

Megan has such a positive outlook on life– I think she is ready for whatever life has in store for her after graduation.
It was fun getting to know you Megan– Congratulations!
She left Southern California looking for a new experience– Eastern Washington didn’t disappoint. It sounds like moving here gave her an itch to do even more traveling. She is so sweet — I hope she gets just what she wants
Congratulations Jessica!

The photoshoot actually involved two best friends; April and Rachel. Even though it was freezing cold, we all managed to have fun;)

jeana: Thank you for the feedback--
Rachel and I had a great time. The shoot was fun and successful because Rachel has a great sense of humor and she has a very easy going personality. We had a great time driving around looking for fun locations to shoot. One location in particular was very entertaining… Rachel saw this tree about 30 yards off the road. I thought is was a cool spot; so I said “let’s go!!!” As we approached the tree mice scurried all around us, we saw a dead cat and lots of coyote poo. It turned out to be a well-used coyote den. The spot wasn’t so fun to shoot at, so we took a few shots and left. Although, I think it was worth the stop for its entertainment value
Now that it’s almost springtime, it’s a great time to think about senior portraits! I offer three packages on my website.
How it works:
You and I meet, or chat on the phone. I find out what you like, and what makes you unique. Our talk will help you to feel comfortable with me, and I will get to know you while getting inspiration for locations and concepts that will make your shoot stand out from everyone else.
On the day of the session we will hit a few locations that should reflect who you are as a person.. and feel free to bring a friend to your session!
About 1 week later your session will be in an online private gallery for viewing and ordering. You can share the link with your friends and family.
What you’ll get:
-Highlight on my blog
-Private online gallery for viewing and ordering
-Wallets
-Print credit to use as you wish–on prints, folios, 5×7 album..
